What are your favorite pizza toppings?

I'm not saying I don't have my own quirks about food too (and maybe they annoy my husband or others around me). I'm picky about certain things, but that has gotten better as I've gotten older. I also do have my own favorite dishes that I have a hard time getting away from, but only at certain restaurants. (ie the Cuban panini at Panera Bread--some kind of magic pickles in that sandwich, I think). Will your wife share tastes of the dishes she orders? Maybe you can find some new things you like without having to order it yourself.

Anyway, sorry to hijack the thread. More pizza topping favorites anyone?

Share? Our table must look like a Three-Card Monte pitch with all the forks and plates flying around. We typically order 4-6 courses each (and take a lot home with us). We get 2-3 extra meals from each visit. I try a lot of things, and even enjoy them, but the next time I order, I order my favorites.

when figs are in season, figs and san daniele prosciutto is my favourite combination.

There's a local restaurant called "Figs" owned by Todd English which has a similar pizza which I too adore. I think there's some raspberry jam on it as well. Awesome fancy-schmantzy style pizza.

Well Peter, it sounds like you are far more adventurous than it first seemed. I had pizza for dinner tonight. Can you guess what the toppings were? My favorite combo, of course.
