Jean-Michel Cazes has entered into a joint venture with the folks at Crasto to produce a new wine called Sxisto, due to debut this year. Cazes was the genius behind Lynch Bages.

Is this " Sxisto" a fortified port type wine? Is that the spelling or a typo?

It's a dry wine, called Xisto - schist.

J-M Cases was also behind Noval before he retired. Christian Seely replaced him. I hope this wine will come to Quebec, I'm never bored of trying Douro wines :)
