Before undertaking a major project like putting together a Buyer's Op for our subscribers, I'd first like to see if there is enough interest here to move forward with this:
A nice broad offering of Madeira that would be available to pretty much ALL countries. What do you say?

I'm directing my spare cash towards vintage port these days, so a Madeira buying opportunity is one I would pass on.

Yes, assuming there's stuff at all price points.

I might buy a bottle or two, but there's an excellent chance that I'd pass on Madeira. But then you already knew that.

Enough negativity from those who are not interested. Yes, I look forward to the opportunity. So what if nobody gets Christmas presents from me this year.

I need more madeira so I say Yes as long as it is a broad offering (price rangewise) and not just the ultra high end stuff.

I love the idea of a Madeira offering, but I to would pass as this point and prefer to see it offered later in the year.

Sorry Roy, I'm not into Madieras (yet), so I'd say no.
Any Port in a storm!

Andy,
None of this would probably happen until Oct. at the earliest and November is more than likely.

I can only speak for myself, but later (nov-dec) would be best to allow the pocket book to recover from a variety of things, including a long trip to Portugal.

I hear ya.
That time of the year would be better for purchase and ship right away too.
