How should I post my report of a trip to Porto?

Post by William Strong »

When I sent in a question about white port Derek Turnbull was kind enough to suggest I send in a report about my visit to Porto.
Do I just type it in like this question? Can I send photos using "attachment"? I don't have my own webpage. Thanks.
PS. What is the BBCode that can be disabled?

Bill,

Given that your trip report is likely to be a long one, the best way to report it here would be to type it into a word document and then cut/paste it into a forum message. I'm not sure if photos would paste, but it might be worth a try. If it would cause a problem then I'm sure either Roy or Stuart will say so.

The BBC codes relate to the options you have at the top of your message screen to put things into bold, italic, underline etc.

The picture will not be posted in your message. They need to be uploaded somwhere on the web and be linked.

If your picture are all of approximate size of 600 x 400 pixels and that they are embeded with HTML hyperlink within you text, I can provide you hosting on my website.

You can see the example of my trip report as something to replicate that can be easy for me to put online.
