Moses,

Do you mean a "patient" attorney? What kind of trouble are you in now? [rotfl.gif]

Ha ha. Actually you are close. We've come up with an endoscopic surgery machine, but that is all I can say.

No luck yet in finding the right attorney yet with a strong mechanical engineering background.

Can it remove a cork that has fallen into an old VP bottle?

Patent attorneys don't need to have such a strong background in the subject. You supply that skill.

They need to be expert at finding similar patents, and at describing your machine in such a way as to include all possible variations and exclude any possibility of similar devices.

I have already spoke to a couple of PA's, but their not as expert in mechanical engineering as they thought they should be for our application. One firm has someone on staff that could be good fit we are interviewing. We are submitting both in EU and USA as we are in trials in Europe currently.

We have an MIT intern for the summer who has been doing much of the leg work in patent discovery. He has done a good job so far.

Actually it could probably or least cut, grind, or stitch it. Let's hope you never need our device. [beg.gif]
