I just had a handful of 2004 LBVs two weeks ago and they are pretty nice and for that money ... given Alberta pricing, I'd definitely say GO FOR IT!

Yes, the importer was Richard Sajbel of Palo Alto. Do you have any further insight on this bottle?

I knew Rick before he passed away a few years ago. He was the original man behind the Aabalat crew. Great guy and taken away from us way too young. His pricing was often crazy high but he was a brilliant buyer of impeccably stored Ports.


I am proud to have purchased a 1962 Malvedos VP and it is the first one I've ever seen for sale. Can't wait to try this gem.

You're 100% correct, I've got to keep looking for more Port! I'll probably run out soon.
