I'm curious about the purchase opportunity and I received the e-mail message, but when I got to the home page for the news letter, its linked to the Sept issue. Where can I find the Dec newsletter with the wines included in the current purchase opportunity?

The newsletter that is sent out to all registered recipients comes by email. The subscribers are the only ones that get to see the exact wines offered and that is in the full access .pdf newsletter that you are not able to see. These buying opportunities are typically not why people subscribe, although maybe some do. The subscribers only buying ops are my way to thank FTLOP's loyal subscribers and add value to their subscriptions.

The offering was from Sun. Dec. 5th - Sat. Dec. 11th. There are 7 wines and buying a mixed case minimum is in place. Your savings on that case, would literally pay for your subscrption. Take a gamble ... it is worth the price of one bottle of Vintage Port.

Additionally, you will have full access to content that non-subscriber's don't see, including artlcles and tasting notes in the newsletter and over 2,500 of my own notes in the Tasting Note Data Base.

IF you are sitting on the fence, please note there are only 3 days left to your buy in. After that the wines will immediately revert to their normal pricing which IS substantially higher. There won't be another Buyer's Op until the end of the 1st quarter, so please bear that in mind. Just a reminder so if you are a procrastinator, that won't be to your benefit in this case.

I was looking forward to it as it would not be restricted to US subscribers.

However, from a Portuguese perspective, Ferreira and Crasto are very easy to find at retail (at better prices) and Broadbent is very expensive.

Sorry I have no influence in Portugal to make this happen there.

As to the pricing, for the USA it is very advantageous. I have not seen the 20 year old Duque de Braganca sold for a better price anywhere that I have seen it sold while in Portugal. If you think those Broadbent prices are expensive, please share with us where they can be found for less in Portugal or elsewhere. Thanks!

sorry, I was not clear, I did not mean that those Broadbent prices were expensive; I was saying that Broadbent wines are expensive for my buying habits.
