1985 Smith Woodhouse Vintage Port

Post by Rune EG »

37.5 cl. Decanted 4.5 hrs. Medium red colour with a touch of brown. Aroma of old cellar, pears, fruity, some wood. Full body. Elegant, velvet, balanced, showing a lot of nice fruit and a lot of other pleasant tastes. A very nice vintage port. 92 pts.

Thanks for the TN. I saw a few of these bottles and almost got one myself, but I had to choose between many great VP's. Maybe I should see if there are some left. :-)

Purchased three, so I still have two which I am looking forward to try.
Small bottles like 37.5 cl are being empty very quickly!!

Think they are only available at the Oslo Vika shop, so please let me know if you find out whether they still have bottles left.

I was pleased to read this note as I picked up a couple of the standard size bottles at a wine auction yesterday. [cheers.gif] Hopefully they have been stored well.
