Interesting, and good for them. My guess is the pricing will be such that I'll still defer shipping over the summer. I'm generally not buying anything that I can't wait for.

Being in the primary area this is targeted for I think it's great. But as Eric mentioned, I wonder what the cost would be for a case. But it would be great for those times where I don't want to wait several months for cooler weather to get my wine. As it stands now I pretty much stop having wine shipped to me by May and I don't start again until November, as October temps can be too variable.

For shipping within CA, GSO (Golden State Overnight) offers temp controlled services. Great for purchases from Rare Wine Co and Premier Cru! And the cost is about the same as UPS ground.
