I'm book for the next couple of nights (Chinese New Year), but I'm free next week, pretty much every night except Thursday.

Count me in and possibly Elys if there's enough room. I have a choice of a few worthy vintages I could be bring and enough IDVP glasses for any size event.

So what is the theme? I don't have any collection, so I'll need to go hunt for some bottles before I can come.

I don't have that much up here at the moment:

1970 Warre
1970 Sandeman Mag
1977 Ferreira
1983 Ferreira

I don't care if there's a theme or not as this will be our first one. I know another collector has a bunch of stuff too (assuming there's room for him).

Oh, those are some pretty old ones. This is my first time to these events, and I don't have anything that old to bring (just started collecting, my oldest is 2000). Finding an 80's vintage bottle on short order is going to be a bit tough. Can you suggest something I can bring. Alternatively, would you be open to have me cover part of your cost?

We can work something out, no worries. We could extend to tawny's too. A nice 20 year tawny or Colheita is a welcome addition.

The New Hampshire wine stores have 1985 Warre's VP on the shelves for $90. Store #69 is right off Exit 6 on Route 3.

Martignetti Company has cases of 1980 Warre sitting in their warehouse. I have contacted someone who works for there and asked to buy out their stock several times. He never responds... I figure 10-20 cases sold at a decent price would worth them to call me back... I guess not. [help.gif]

I like 1980 Warre. The Graham's is better, but a case of 1980 Warre would be nice to have. Would this be at the store on Soldier's Field Road?

No, it's suppose to be sitting in their warehouse somewhere. I think the rep for Martignetti's could've been pulling my chain as I said I'll take them and I hear nothing.

I just caught the flu so I won't be able to come tomorrow. Besides the fever, I really can't taste anything. I'll definitely join you guys next time you arrange something. Have a good time tomorrow night.

Hi all,

I've moved this to the offline section, since that is where it really belongs. I've left a "shadow topic" on the original main Port section so people still see it there and will be automatically redirected to the offline forum. Thanks and have a great time!

I'm finally alive again after the 5 day fever. So did the tasting happen? How did it go?

That's some fever. Nothing happened. I (or we with better half goes) am around on Friday I think.

And I traveling, overloaded, and general too busy at times, missed everything that didn't happen.
Interested in the future though
