1915 Boal Taylor, Fladgate and Yeatman

Post by Jim R. »

Folks, I thought I would tap the immense experience of this membership for any information on this wine. Here is the story. In the late 70s I wanted to buy a wine that would be a 100 years old when I drank it and I came across this one at Corti Brothers (a specialty market in Sacramento, CA). On the bottle it says "exclusive import of Corti Brothers-Sacramento by Barengo Cellars, Acampo, CA". On the bottom of the bottle in the punt there are inscribed F, 3, and 107. There is no other information on the bottle. Fill is one inch above shoulder. I plan on opening it sometime in 2015 or 16. No hurry but thanks in advance for any information you might have. I have had port experience but very little madeira experience. I have recently bought the Broadbent 10 year Malmsey to continue my education. I plan on contacting the Corti Brothers market as well. Hi Jim,

If you could post a clear picture of the bottle and labels as that is often a great help in us identifying it.
