1980 Noval Nacional up for auction

I've bought from Christie's, and I've bought at auction in Hong Kong, but not both together. I don't know how easy it is to get a win shipped from them, so I'll probably pass. But even given the relative poor condition of some of the bottles, it seems like a bargain to me.

A bargain, yes. But it was never a great Port, although good. I guess if someone was really looking forward to owning or trying a Nacional, this would be an easy entry fee.

Eric,

It will depend if the port is in holding in the US or in HC. If HC then you might be paying more than its worth is shipping and taxes. Then there is the exchange rate that seems to kill us in the US. When I lived in Rome last year I was buying from london and the pound was almost the same to the euro but now since I'm back in the US...nope. Not gonna pay the extra cheddar.
