Kind of lame methinks. It mixes things up (ruby is in the wood-aged category?) and steers people to buy basic tawny. I agree with the second anonymous reply comment on the site. Some people may prefer basic tawny, but at that price point I'd rather have a ruby reserve or LBV.

Sloppy research. I grant that Port types can be a bit confusing - as I recall LBVs are classified as wood aged by the IVdP even though we all think of them as rubies - but there just aren't that many types so it's just not that hard. Leave out whites, Crusted, and Garrafeira as too rare to need explaining to the masses, and there are only 8 types to talk about. The basic rubies and tawnies don't really need explaining except as categories, and the two reserves only need one line each to say that they're a step up from the basic versions. Leaving really only 4 that you need to explain: LBV, Vintage Port, Tawny with an Indication of Age, and Colheita.
