Where to purchase Savannah Verdelho Historical Series near Boston???

Last year I purchased the Savannah Verdelho and thought it was the best of the Historic series (Have never seen the New Orleans for sale). Purchased from Blanchards, Brighton, and they have been out of stock for a long, long time. Anyone know where to purchase in Eastern Massachusetts, or failing that, in New England?

Does MA allow for out of state shipping? If so, you can order direct from the Rare Wine Co.

Good idea, guess I will give them a call. At least I can find basic availability. But gut feeling is that they will not ship, because:

2 years ago I called them, and they gave me the name of their Massachusetts distributor (think it was Charles River?), to find local stores. They could not ship.

Currently the UPS website 'Shipping Wine' page prominently lists only Massachusetts as a state they will not ship to: "UPS does not accept shipments containing wine to or from Massachusetts." My interpretation of Fedex website chart is that Fedex will not ship to a Massachusetts consumer.

Marty's is a reseller for Rare Wine Company. I'd ask them to order it if they don't already have it.

You're near Boston? Perhaps you'll have more luck finding the RWC Boston Bual.

Vineyard Road http://www.vineyardroad.net/ is the distributor for Rare Wine Company in Massachusetts. They have had promotions in the fall and spring. Most of the stores that I've been in seem to have some of the RWC historical series, usually the malmsey, bual, and sercial. The others are hard to find. I think that getting your wine merchant to order the wine may be the hard part.

I went to Marty's in Newton today. They are having a 20% off sale on Spanish and Portuguese wines this month if you buy six or more bottles. I bought 3 RWC Savannah Verdelho. There was one left at the back of the shelf.
