Best Madeira that you've had in 1st Half of 2011?

Can you keep it to just one? If not, at least pick the one from a small group that you either scored the highest or loved the most.

Tough choice... two Buals stood out, both Blandys... the 1907 and the 1920.

That 1795 Barbieto Terrantez with Roy and Sean at Sean's house. It had the more spidery stencilled label.

1974 Blandy's Sercial. I had a glass of it at Eola in DC. It went very well with the chocolate gnocchi dessert that included a subtle citrus flavor. I highly recommend Eola the next time any of you are in DC.

1968 D'Oliveira's Boal Reserve. It took several days to shine. Came with an additional T-cork to replace the driven one when opened.

Easily the 1795 Barbieto Terrantez courtesy of Eric! Only the second time I've had this but it was a powerhouse both times.

An easy choice for me, as 2011 has not been nearly as prolific as last year when I attended the Fortification Tour.

1875 Cossart Gordon Camara de Lobos Solera at Bern's Steak House.
