I agree, but I actually don't like the roriz flavor that much especially if it dominates a blend.

i've consistently scored quinta roriz lower because I can taste the roriz.

In small quantities it can add some nice complexity and a slight greenish quality to the ports.

Jeff,

Are you saying that in the VP's of Quinta de Roriz, you've tasted the Tinta Roriz in their blended Ports and scored them lower based on the TR in the cuvee? I just want to make sure I have read your post correctly!
