I will be in NYC from Sept.25th to 29th. Does anyone know of any tasting events going on then?

I'm not sure whether you both are familiar with Local Wine Events' website. [www.localwineevents.com].
It might be a good tool or resource to start with. When I do travel or before booking any wine event, first I tend to check this particular website to find out about general Wine Tastings taking place in any given site or town.
By checking Local Wine Events I've noticed on November 17th, 2005, Morrell Wine Store is actually hosting a Tasting in NYC of "Port and Dessert a sweet way to finish" - $70. Hopefully this will help. best. /MF.
