Purchased at the Quinta. Bottled in 2010.
Wow! This is incredible stuff! Pop and Pour. Copper colored. A touch of volatility in the nose at first. But quickly blows off a minute or two. Glorious flavors! Very balanced and suave. This seems more like a 20 year old than a 10. Layer upon layer of flavor. From almonds to butterscotch, and very good bright acidity. Extremely long finish. Super impressive wine! It is so light and balanced that I can stop drinking it. I had this at the Quinta just a month ago, and it was not very impressive. Maybe that was an off bottle? Certainly this one isn't. Is this the best 10 year old I've ever had? I think so! 94 points.

Certainly in my top tier of 10's ... and 30's and 40's too! Romaneira rocks the wood-aged Port world! ![Toast [cheers.gif]](./images/smilies/cheers.gif)

Makes me think of Pocas 10yoT bottled 2011. This is the best of this category I had so far. Nearly on a par with their fantastic recent Colheitas.David Spriggs wrote:...This seems more like a 20 year old than a 10...
