I've that Port right in front of me...opened and ready to drink.
After all that all the members have said I must add that this it's the single harvest Port wich is the base for the Tawny Ports that you often see all over the wine shops.
I consider this type of Port as the less comercial type that exists,because it's normally sold by the barrell and not by the bottle (Most of the big Port House, Taylor's+ Graham's+Sandeman etc... they don't even mention this Ports in all the visits and publicity because they don't have it for sale!!
In what concerns about the taste of this Port it's always quite licorish and there's more aftertaste of mint+vanilla+dry fruits.
Good Port and by the way after you open it you have more then 1 year to finish the bottle!

Appreciate the responses. I should have been more specific in saying that I know what I bought Just wondered about this specific bottling, since I have no experience with 1964. Gustavo, would love to hear from you after you've tried the wine.
