Post by Roy Hersh »

LINER & ELSEN, (2222 NW Quimby St. | Portland | OR | 97210 ) is one of Portland, Oregon's top wine shops, and will be featuring Rupert Symington, for a special tasting on Monday, February 6th 2012.

The fine lineup of the Symington Family Estates (10) Ports available for tasting will be:

Six Grapes
Dow’s Crusted
Dow’s 10 yr Tawny
Graham’s 20 yr Tawny
Dow’s 1982 Colheita
Smith Woodhouse 1986 Colheita
Graham’s 30 yr Tawny (maybe)
2009 Graham’s Malvedos
1994 Graham’s Vintage
1985 Dow’s Vintage

A great selection and the chance to get to meet one of the finest gentlemen from the Port trade. I hope you will be able to make this event and enjoy some great Ports and the opPORTunity to meet Rupert in person!

That really is a nice lineup! The '82 Dow and '86 Smith Woodhouse are both excellent Colheitas. The '94 Graham and '85 Dow are both excellent VPs. And those are just the ones I have experience with!

If it weren't on a Wednesday I might have to drive down to Portland for that...
