Fonseca luck

Post by Alan Rath »

A month or so ago I picked up a couple bottles of 97 Fonseca through an auction site, $45/bottle which I was quite happy with (less than the $50 I had paid on original futures). So the other day I get a note from the auction house telling me that when they inspected the bottles they were actually not 97 vintage, but 92! In compensation for their error, they offered to let me hang on to the 92s for another $25/bottle, so I'm now the proud owner of two more 92 Fonsecas.

Off to buy a lottery ticket ;)

Cheers,
Alan

I had the '92 Fonseca a few weeks ago and the TN appears in the current newsletter, if you are interested.
