The article kind of ignores the fact that TCA can come from other sources besides corks.

Maybe so, but what percentage of corked bottles do you think come from non-infected corks?

The article also seems to ignore what i had assumed to be the mainstay of the argument for sticking to cork rather than screw-top/artificial cork - its effect on the ageing process and the development of a wine in bottle.
