Since I'm new here, I thought I'd post what we've purchased in the past month instead of just this week. I don't have prices handy on anything, but we've paid prices about mid-range of what wine-searcher can find on most bottles. So, in no particular order:
Noval Black (1)
Noval 10 Year Tawny (1)
Noval 1964 Colheita (1)
Noval 1937 Colheita (2)
Khron 1961 Colheita (1)
Rocha 2003 VP, 375ml (1)
All of these have been purchased locally in the Sacramento, CA area, either from Corti Brothers - a 60 year old grocery store in town that has a very impressive port inventory (and wine in general), or from Lake Forest wines - a small local wine retailer that's nearly across the street from us. The proprietor there is happy to order anything and gives us good prices.

Carl,
Welcome aboard and nice to have you with us. Some mighty fine wines in your list. Please tell Darrell Corti that Roy Hersh sends his regards. He is one of the more brilliant men in terms of wine I've ever met.

1x 1977 Gould Campbell. Acker e-mailed a listing with this at $79, and I tried to buy more, but didn't get through fast enough.

Kopke 1982 Colheita (375ml)
Both from Pete's Wines in Bellevue, WA. The pair will be the subject of a side-by-side tasting later this evening.

Carl,
What did you think of Pete's?
The Kopke importer for the USA is based in Bellevue, so that's why you see it everywhere in this area.
Look forward to your tasting notes on the 1982 and the 30 year old. Fun to do 'em side=by=side when they are the same age!

Roy -
Pete's was cool - lots of Port. I did notice that the Kopke importer was in Bellevue - no wonder they had so much of it! We also noticed:
A) Your name all over the shelves in the port section (lots of reviews from FTLOP).
B) That they didn't have a single bottle from Quinta do Noval! We had then order a bottle of Black.
n00b tasting notes to follow on the two tawnies. It WAS interesting to taste them side by side. Being stable-mates, they were quite similar - but at the same time, quite different.

Noval Black
Taylor First Estate
Rocha Extra Dry White (375ml)
The first two to be set aside to participate in the eventual battle of the reserve rubies that's been suggested.

2 x 1966 Graham Vintage Ports from WineConsigners for $158 each. Not a steal, but a good price and certainly good enough for me.

Yeah that's about the best price you can hope for these days. Any more left? PM me... I can always use more of those!
