2000 Vesuvio

Post by Alan Rath »

Vin Vino Wine in Palo Alto is having a 25%-off sale on mixed case purchases. Together with a few other wines, I just got some 2000 Vesuvio for $51, which is essentially the price I paid for futures several years ago. Web site is vinvinowine.com, although the web site isn't much, and the full inventory isn't online. They'll be happy to help out over the phone, however.

Regards,
Alan

I love the 2000 Vesuvio. Certainly one of the top wines of the vintage and a stunning value at that price. For those that whine about Port pricing, let 'em just try this for the cost of a current release modest CA Cab or CdP.
Ambition driven by passion, rather than money, is as strong an elixir as is Port. http://www.fortheloveofport.com

Heck, PC still has two mags of this for $109. That is a good price.
