I grabbed one bottle each of 2003 and 2005 Quinta do Noval LBV @ $22 each for the sake of FTLOP Newsletter tasting notes.

That is port - it's just not been fortified yet. Port made the traditional way before it started to be fortified, like in the early to mid-1700s.
Or perhaps we should invent a new category of port called "Late Fortified"?

So what you are saying is we all should get some Aguardente and some Portuguese wine, then combine the two ourselves. Then have a Virtual Tasting to chart the results?

Or how about an original stlye "Port Kit." I'm sure some on here will remember as I do, getting you computer as bits & pieces that you had to put together. Some people still do that today with computers, so why not with port?
