PA Port Sale Advice

Post by Daniel Mattisson »

PA Wine and Liquor Store has a sale that features a lot of ports at steep discounts:
40 year Tawny Taylor Fladgate: $66
Churchill, Sandeman, Croft Vintage 2007: $33
Neipoort Vintage 2005: $32
Vesuvio 2007: $30
Martinez 2007: $18
Crasto 2007: $24
Crasto 2000: $20
Broadbent 2007: $18

Thoughts on the best deals? These seem like crazy prices on second tier ports. Sale ends today so any advice greatly appreciated!

By the way, shipping is free to PA (not available at all to out of state) - hopefully a few of you can benefit!
There's also a Broadbent Malmsey Madeira 10 year for $18.

Wow, that is a good price. But everything you mentioned is crazy cheap. Are they all 750's?

Yep, all 750s. Only issue is they won't hold for delivery and ship in corrugated. Fortunately shipping is done over 1 night. Got my first shipment today, everything seemed fine - spinning capsules, no leakage and no elevated corks. So far I've bought

3 x Churchill Gricha 2007
3 x Vesuvio 2007
3 x Martinez 2007
2 x Broadbent Malmsey 10

Great prices for any of them--many are the same price as LBVs or even rubies. Don't think twice--Go get em!

That's an insane price for a 40-yr old Tawny... $66? That's lower than even the FTLOP buying opps! Stock up while you can!
