Just realised that I didn't post that I opened a bottle of Warre 1986 LBV earlier this week - really tasty, imo probably at its drinking peak

Another corked bottle of 1978 Bomfim. In the last week that makes 2 bottles of 1978 and a bottle of 1979 Bomfim that was corked. What was it with Dow and their corks in the late '70s?

Noval 10 yo Tawny. Slightly corked? We're going to try the polyethylene experiment on this bottle and see what difference it makes...

Costco / Kirkland 10 Year Tawny. Inital glass was not as inspiring as previous releases. Verdict is still out for me, but it's not as much an obvious hit as years before. Not as syrupy as previous releases.
