Vinho da Madeira rompe tradição e tem versão 'on the rocks'

Note: on the article below, translated using Google quick Translator, I've only changed the word "Wood" to "Madeira".
The portuguese word "Madeira" is actually "wood" in english. However, for better understanding of this article I guess it's better to keep the original portuguese word, MADEIRA, in the piece.

Funchal, 28 Jul (Lusa) - Very on to the time of the Christmas, that occurs in the winter in Portugal, the wine of the Madeira starts to leave of side the tradition and already it can be appreciated in the days of strong heat.
Two ice rocks and one rodela of lemon in a cup of wide base with a wine of the Madeira candy - of preference with five years -, here it is "Madeira on the rocks".
The new drink will be presented during a social event organized by the president of the Wine, Bordado and Artesanato of the Madeira, Paulo Rodrigues.
"In such a way, if it breaches with the traditions of that if it does not put ice in the wine and that the Wine Madeira, being a drink candy, licorosa, is more used in the winter", said Rodrigues to the Lusa.
"The wine Madeira is very on to the traditions of Christmas, being drunk with the honey cake, one another one would iguaria madeirense, but now she is necessary to follow in front and to innovate, because that is a way to foment the consumption", said.
