What is your favorite Portuguese/Douro wine enjoyed in 2012 (so far)?

It is that time again. Which bottle of DOC Douro or other region in the country ... has stood out as your favorite. Can't come up with just one ... a short list would also suffice. :salute:

So tough as I was very lucky to have so many good Douro wines this year. Here are some favorites

REDS:
2002 Niepoort Charme
2007 Quinta do Tedo Grande Reserva Savedra
2008 Chryseia (a surprise as I haven't normally liked this style when young)
1994 Passadouro Douro DOC
1997 Quinta do Crasto Tinta Roriz

WHITES:
2010 Niepoort Coche
2008 Casa Ferreirenha Vinha da Capela Branco (only 1 barrel produced)

But my overall favorite ended up being a three way tie between..

2004 Casa Ferreirneha Barca Velha
2004 Niepoort Robustus
2006 Quinta do Crasto Vinha Maria Teresa

2003 Quinta de Ventozelo Tinta Roriz was quite impressive. Very hard to resist drinking right now...

I had a Poeira 2002 and Lavradores de Feitoria Grande Escolha 2001 over Christmas that were both excellent and a Quinta do Passadouro Reserva 2008 earlier in the year that was very impressive as well.

Favourite is probably Barca Velha 78, first time I enjoyed a Douro red from my birthyear. The 85 was good too, but not as expressive that day.

In whites Niepoort Whites as really impressive.

Other reds, Niepoort Robustus 90 and Batuta 2001 were impressive, so was Valle Meao 2002.
