Pictures from my recent trip to Douro/Porto

Post by Frederick Blais »

I did finally uploaded my photos on my website. I spent a day at Passadouro, 2 with the Taylor's around their Quinta and facilities, 1 day with the Olazabal family at Vale Meao and as usual fun and harvest work with the Niepoort. Beside that I spent a day free in the Douro with a friend and a couple in Porto. I tried to make different pictures this time, especially in Porto.

Both locations are very excellent to visit. Between Lisbon and Porto you could check out Obidos, Alcobaca, Bathalta,Nazare, Coimbra, Aviero, all very beneficial. There is day journey vacationers boats that do Douro area trips.

Nice pictures... 3 years ago, I did the Porto-Regua day tour with Douro Azul. We had morning meal and lunch with bottles of wine, a trip to a port lodge in Regua, and a train back to Porto. The landscape is fantastic and the journey was well-organized.
