An interesting purchase - what made you choose to buy this particular bottle given the reputation that Nacional has for the vintages in the '80s?

1997 Quinta do Crasto VP. Only had this once that I recall and it didn't show to well. Wanted to give it a go one more time to rule out a bad bottle or not.

Great deal. The best I can do in these parts is $11.20 for half bottles (plus tax), and that seemed like a good deal before.

Whew! You saved John from having to post 3 times in a row. We don't want him to know JUST how slippery the slope is quite yet, now do we?

Which reminds me, I still need to clean up my 4th fridge so that I'm allowed to bring it into the house.

My Mother stopped in for a visit and brought me Sandeman 20 Year Tawny. Someone is giving her good advice (at Christmas she gave me a 2000 Warres LBV) but she's not talking. She's the best!!

Oops, this got into the wrong thread. Should have been in the "What have you opened this week?" thread instead!
