TN: 1862 Rutherford & Miles Terrantez Vintage Madeira

Very dark brown. Slight reduction on nose. Bouquet of dates and hazelnuts with hint of chocolate and cloves. With time smells like date nut bread with some baking spices. On palate figs predominate. Mouthfilling. Excellent acidity. Long, slightly bitter finish. Nose 19, taste 18+/19 for total score 19. After 5 hours in the glass, more chocolate fudge components, but shorter finish. Score 18.5/20. (3/12).
