TN: 1870 Henriques & Henriques Velho Boal Vintage Madeira
Medium brown with expected green edge. Despite 3 week airing before serving, initial vegetal nose which blew off in the glass and evolved to tobacco and mixed spice aromas. Tobacco, coffee and spice flavors persisted in mouth, with touch of orange. Moderately long finish. 16/20 (2/09).
