TN: 1875 D'Oliveira Malmsey Vintage Madeira

Very dark, color of Coca-Cola. Nose with prominent pumpkin pie spices. Multi-layered with caramel, a little orange zest, good acidity, and a slightly bitter but long finish. My fifth place among 9 malmseys/malvasias with dinner. 18/20. Nice pairing with pear tart with raspberry mango coulis. (1/13).
