Just checking to see if there's interest in doing a local Madeira tasting in Southern California.
I was thinking, to keep things simple, I could host. (I'm near Long Beach.)
The only expenses would be food and renting glasses, if we decided that would be necessary.
For food, we could cater dinner in - Indian and Persian are possibilities. Or - with a designated driver - go out, to say Ethiopian or a churrascaria. (My tendency toward spicy cuisines is showing here.)

I would be interested, but likely wouldn't be free until late summer for such a trek from Humboldt. Please keep me in mind though!
