I'm quite positive you'll get to drink some of these bottles in due time :)

1968 Taylor QdV VP. I finally managed to snag a bottle of this one, from my birth year.

2x KROHN 20-Year-Old-Tawny
2x KROHN Colheita 1995
3x KROHN Colheita 1978
2x KROHN Colheita 1966
5x KROHN White Colheita 1964

These purchases are Roy's fault! We had this nice tasting during last year's Port Harvest Tour - and from that moment on I knew that I needed some Krohn Colheitas in my cellar!!! The 1966 will be for sure one of the wines on my 50th birthday in 2016... :)

1 bottle of 1983 Confraria do Vinho.

I have NO idea what this is. Is it a bottle that came from the Confraria do Vinho do Porto? I have no way to know until it arrives.

If anyone has ever seen this Port before, even from another vintage ... I'd be interested in any info you might have. :thanks:

Hello Roy: Here is an interesting link.

http://www.confrariavinhodoporto.com/En ... ntage.html

As they mention, they have declared the following Vintages: 1982, 1983, 1985, 1991, 1994, 1997, 2000, 2003 and 2007.
But I don't know which grapes are used to produce these wines...

I seem to recall reading somewhere that the Confraria bottlings were a mix of contributions from different shippers in years where a critical mass of shippers had declared...can't recall where now...Mayson perhaps?

I like that 1985 Burmester. I can't say I've had the Dalva, and odds are against finding a bottle here in the United States. Please report on how it tastes when the time comes.

I drank the Dalva last night and really didn't like it. It was not bad and I paid 330 sek(Swedish kronor). But it had no body and no complexity and I just waited for the flavors to come together but it just need so much time for everything to come together.
