How about some input.

Post by BEN BBB »

I live in Sweden and all alcohol beverages containing more than 3,5% is sold by a chain of stores owned by the goverment.

It is great because when the whole country is one customer we are often the biggest single customers to many and we get some great stuff for a fair prices regarding wine. The staff has great knowledge and when not driven by profit they do sell pretty much everything and what they dont sell they can import for us for a very low cost. And the great hing...If I buy a bottle and it tastes bad.....I just go back with it and get a refund or a new bottle and the same goes if you drop a bottle even at home as long as the bottle is not opened(if you drop it and it breakes)

I will post what I can order and if any of you guys have some input please feel free to share it with me, I will also post prices and 6,5 sek(swedish kronor) is 1 usd

Anything that stands out and you guys, that you think is a great deal and a must try?

20 year Sandeman is worth picking up, especially for a cigar smoker. Nice acidty on Sandeman. Madeira or Champagne I find a better match to a cigar than port, IMO.

Nothing works as well as coca cola or aged rum :)

Never tested a Madeira. Any recommendations?
