2009 Quinto do Tedo VP. A friend visited the quinta this summer and brought a bottle back. It came out during a party. A beautiful, dark ruby port. Strong but not over powering tannins with a stewed fruit punch in the mouth. I really enjoyed this. Unfortunately, it was not handled well before being served and was a bit gritty.

There are no tasting notes for this LBV. I'd love to hear about this port considering the amazing purchase price! [cheers.gif]

For our annual Sukkot party: 1963 Fonseca Vintage and 1937 Noval Colheita. We have some Port novices coming over who are interested in trying some new things. Why not set their expectations high

Took a Dow 2005 LBV, unfiltered 375 ml up into the mountains for the weekend. Very juicy and didn't seem quite as dry as the Dow house style. Maybe it was the altitude :-)

An unknown, bottled by Christopher & Co. Turned out to be oxidised and unpleasant - that happens. [shrug.gif]
