Average? Three or so. Need to work that up. Bought some more 1960 & 1970 recently, so that should help.

4-6 times....whenever I have an older bottle or think the cork will be an issue....love seeing an old cork intact so this facilitates that too. (Wish I had a Durand)

Average? Zero; in fact, I have never used either of my port tongs.

I used to use them quite a bit. But the Durand has largely replaced the need and it's been over a year since the last time I've* tong'd a bottle.
