Decant time for a 1989 Dow Quinta do Bomfim Vintage Port
Was thinking of opening this up soon. Any opinions on best decant time would be appreciated. Thank you.

I would surmise around 4-6 hours would be good.

I've never had it, nor do I have any experience with 1989s, but Andy's recommendation sounds about right to me.

Before reading anyone's responses, I was going to say 4-5 hours, so we are all in agreement and an extra hour or so is not going to hurt that particular Port. It is a nice one from a solid year and fine property. Enjoy!
