Join Hart Davis Hart as we explore an exquisite portfolio of Madeira from Blandy, legendary producer of this renowned wine. Proprietor Chris Blandy will lead a tasting featuring Bual, Sercial, Terrantez, Malmsey and Verdelho from a variety of vintages. The Blandy family has been producing wines on the island of Maderia since 1811. A selection of food pairings from Bristol Chef Chris Pandel will accompany the tasting.

I second Andy's request!

I communicated with Paul Mugnier, a Blandy's US importer, who said that Chris would not make it to sunny SoCal this particular trip. Hopefully he will later this year, though likely not for a tasting like this one in Chicago.

Damn, if I wasn't going to see him a couple of days earlier in Madeira ... I'd certainly head down to SF for a Chris seminar. Always great!!!

Looking forward to see him this weekend. [cheers.gif]

I heard from friends who were at the Chicago tasting that it was splendid and they had some great bottles to try!
