I found 375ml bottles of 1983 Tuke Holdsworth, bottled in 1985, at the Bonney Lake Grocery Outlet, for $15. I drank one and put one away. There is also a lot of Tuke Holdsworth Ruby, for a bit less.

This week (on Thursday) I added my now most prized bottle to my cellar as the new flagship of my collection: 2011 Quinta do Noval Nacional. I don't want to say what I paid for it since it was a special deal through a friend (and a member here on ftlop) who owns a wine bistro and wine store. Let's just say it was substantially less than retail. I only got one bottle of it, would have been happy to pick up two, but the other one was for him. :-)

I wasn't sure that I would be able to add one of these to my cellar. Even on release they are so expensive and obscure, am very happy to have one of these on my hands now. I have joked in the past that the box or wrapper a wine/whiskey came in was pretty and nice, but for this one there is no joke to be had. It's this gorgeous jet black box with the name carved into the top, and the lid seals shut with neodymium magnets. Also on the inside there was an invitation card to Quinta do Noval's QDN 1931 club. I had never heard of it, but registered for it to find some member exclusive offers. I emailed them about the 1994 nacional and 1964 colheita duo that I look forward to receiving an answer on.

Later tonight I think I will be picking up another colheita or two and two or three bottles of QDN's standard 2011 vintage port - and perhaps a couple bottles of rioja since my cellar has shifted unevenly recently to northern Italian wines, Bordeaux and pinot.

I found some 2011s
3x 750ml Warres 2011 VP
3x 375ml Warres 20011 VP
2x 750ml Grahams 2011 VP
1x 375ml Fonseca 2011 VP
1x 375ml Croft 2011 VP

I've not seen any Taylors yet, and only 5 cases of Dow made it into Australia (I'll bet that you had to know the importer personally to get some)

I saw those and thought about picking up one. Are they VP or Garrafeira?
