The Beauty of Bual this weekend

Post by Roy Hersh »

For the third year in a row, our group of serious Madeira loves will descend on NYC to enjoy 20 bottles of pre-Phylloxera Boals from a wide assortment of producers. A mini-horizontal of 1863 and 1868 Buals will be included in separate flights of each, to compare these two arguably greatest Bual vintages. Can't wait to see the many FTLOP'ers included in the participants. [cheers.gif]

I am proud to have garnered the rights to publish the story in the World of Fine Wines later this year. :scholar:

Dear Roy,

I hope you had a great time and I really wish I would have been there... Can't wait until I read the TNs from this event.
Best

Roy,

Like youse guys did to the prices of ancient terrantez, old bual prices will probably be on a quicker than normal incline. Thanks. [kez_11.gif]

Thank you Peter. It was a very fun time to say the least. Some surprises and some disappointments, but overall a solid lineup.

Barry, I hate when that happens. But seriously, do you really think it was our small group that drove prices up? [shrug.gif]
