Since I've had so few Colheita's today I purchased a 1984 Kopke today--bottled 2013. Will be nice for the weekend.

You'll be in a treat, that is a recent bottling! Was it from a B&M?

Yes. Wine Library in NJ. I stopped by today. They also had the 1983... did not check the bottling on it though.

Opened my Kopke last night---already the best I've had. Quite lovely--liquid vanilla, caramel and cashews--and this was after a pop n pour.

The Colheitas from Niepoort are splendid.
On top of my list stands the
Ni 1908
Ni VV (bottled in the mid 70s)
Ni 1937
Left in my winecellar is the Ni 1912 and Ni 1935

I am looking forward to the taste....

First let me welcome you to the forum! [welcome.gif]

Nice list, I too love Niepoort's Colheita's. They are among some of my favorites too.
