2000 Smith Woodhouse LBV for emergency consumption under the full moon on Friday the 13th.

Why SW00? Because it was harvested the last time there was a full moon on Friday the 13th. The next time won't be until August 13, 2049. Hopefully the 2014 Ports will be stout enough to last 35 years... I'm not convinced that I will!

1991 Croft VP. Pretty happy with this find--a B&M shop with a walk in wine cellar in Upstate NY.

That's a very nice price!!! I had mine at 75 and most I've seen are around 150. It is a blend of Colheitas from the 1920's

Hi all,

Just bought this week

1 x Dow's Quinta do Bomfim - 2001 - £21
12 x Dows crusted port - 2007 - £13 each
3 x Graham's crusted port - 1998 - £15 each

First two at ASDA and the Graham's at sainsbury's

That's a start along with some LBV's and a VP that I have in my store under the house

Cheers
Nick

1970 Warre's VP
1981 Ferreira LBV

Same auction (Zachy's) had a 1946 Sandeman....no TNs anywhere I can find and not a declared year--yet the auction company insisted in was a VP (bottled in 1948 so it checks out). I wish I could have bid....did anyone here bid and win this lot? Hope it went to a good home.

I bid on a few bottles, non-Port, and was outbid and didn't follow up on Sunday. Those old Sandemans were tempting, but I wasn't in the mood to gamble on that outlier year.

I dont know how many people I can have over for my 50th birthday next year, But at least 3 guests.
I find it a little hard to find Ports from my Birth year.

Allan,
How'd you get the bottles to stick to the ceiling?
