Still no word, unfortunately. I'll hold off on the reservation until tomorrow. Thanks for tackling all the details!

Ok, done deal. Sorry folks, I lost an entire week last week to a fire at the Fair that I work that took out 8 of my prime booths that capture 40% of my sales. But I am trying to forget that misery and Port is just the right antidote.
Things worked out for the best with the hotel and for those of you staying at the Holiday Inn in Issaquah, our Saturday night event will be held there. For those that have the ability to decant ahead, even an hour would be great and to remove the sediment too. For those with the ability to get me their bottle and don't want to be bothered, I can handle the decanting ahead of time.
I think it is best to meet at the hotel at 6 p.m. after everyone's had a chance to eat an early dinner. Attendance will be at 11 or so and we should have some great bottles too.
Any questions, please feel free to ask!

While it may sound silly, I am really stoked to taste these LBV's blind in 48 hours. Not much Port for me lately, so this will be great and seeing the w. coast

crew will be winderful!

I'm looking forward to a fabulous weekend as well!
Mine's getting busy... I'm now signed up to take a class in Monroe on Saturday around noon to get certified as a BBQ judge for the other big organization, the Kansas City BBQ Society, to add to my Pacific NW BBQ Association certification. I'm then going to help judge the Washington State Spring BBQ Championships on Sunday!
Hopefully they won't care that I'll have a purple tongue!

Thanks to all for a wonderful time and tasting! It's always great to drink port with friends, old and new! Especially big thanks to Roy, who put in a tremendous amount of effort to making this event such a success.
Big takeaway? Buy and age more LBV!

Does anyone have notes you can post? Or are you all drying out today?

Yeah, me too. I had a very busy weekend, what with all the Port activities, a KCBS BBQ judging certification class on Saturday, and then a BBQ event to judge on Sunday!
So I'm a little bit behind on the paperwork.
Great fun, though, and a couple of surprising (to me) results. I have all of the flight/WotN voting and will post it as soon as I can catch up.

Glen, why not write up a Guest Corner Article, or Andy ... or both.

Is anyone going to post some notes here, or are we going to have to wait for the Guest Corner article? I would love to know how the wines showed.
