1983 Smith Woodhouse VP 375ml -- corked. That's the first corked bottle out of this batch of 17 that I bought together, and I think the 10th that I've opened. I'm going to let it sit in the decanter, but it hasn't improved yet after about an hour. Didn't improved before going to bed. This morning I thought to put plastic wrap in it. I can't say I've tried that before and had it work, but I don't have anything to lose at this point.

I opened a high mileage NV white port. A Pocas Branco Doce Para Misas. I got this bottle in Brazil from the wife's family who brought it back from Portugal from their home village which I took to New York and then Tampa hence the high mileage.

Its the wine used for mass which puts a whole new light on the church in the Douro I suppose. Its a bit simple yet tasty so no complaints on that front.

Mark,
I had sent you an email, did you get it?

And that is a lot of miles traveled for a NV white Port
