Wasn't planning on buying any wine today, but just returned with 14 bottles of Pocas Junior Colheita's & aged tawnies ;-).

One 6-pack 1992 Colheita
2 bottles of 1995 Colheita
2 bottles of 1997 Colheita
2 bottles of 2000 Colheita
1 decanter-style bottle 10yo
1 bottle 20yo

all bottled in 2011. Total price approximately EUR 220.

David, that's not Port. :scholar:

I grabbed one bottle each of 2003 and 2005 Quinta do Noval LBV @ $22 each for the sake of FTLOP Newsletter tasting notes.

That is port - it's just not been fortified yet. Port made the traditional way before it started to be fortified, like in the early to mid-1700s.

So what you are saying is we all should get some Aguardente and some Portuguese wine, then combine the two ourselves. Then have a Virtual Tasting to chart the results? [help.gif]

Or how about an original stlye "Port Kit." I'm sure some on here will remember as I do, getting you computer as bits & pieces that you had to put together. Some people still do that today with computers, so why not with port? :stir: , :stir: , :stir:
