November, saturday, rainy and windy. Dances with wolves on the dvd, and a bottle of Pocas Junior over 40 years old, bottled in 1984 in the decanter.
Extremely alive and kicking.
Good weekend

1952 Graham's Commemoration bottling ... showing beautifully, but consumed quickly as it was so slurpable.

Offley Colheita 1998. I bought this from a TallinkSilja ferry (Finland-Sweden) where I often purchase port wines as they have a different selection compared to the Finnish monopoly store. Previously the vintage was 1997 and I was surprised that it had changed. However, I find the 1998 just as good as the 1997.

Royal Oporto Colheita from 1999, bottled in 2013. I remember enjoying a bit more of their 2000 Colheita.

1958 Quinta do Noval da Silvas. I didn't open it but my brother-in-law was generous enough to pop this for Thanksgiving.
I thought this was a Colheita before he pulled the cork, but it was a Vintage. Opened up a bit and the heat diminished after a few hours in the decanter and turned out to be quite pleasant. Really interesting label that I hadn't seen before. I would post the photo, but I have never been successful at that on this forum.

Just sipping a White Quinta do Mourão. Specially deliverered from Portugal, by a good friend.
I have maby had 100 bottles of port over the last two years, and the average age of the juice, has been around 50 years. And I am getting used drinking theese old bottles.
I do not know how long this Mourão has been in a barrol, But for sure not 50 years.
One thing I know, this bottle could be stored away for many years, and brought to attention in 2070. What a powerhouse of taste, fruity, fullyfbodied.
Just looking like liquid amber in the glass.
A beauty!

IIRC, this is a basic White from him. To my knowledge he does not have any old white Ports, unless he's acquired some recently from other sources.
