Didn't have time to decant any port this evening, so opened a bottle of Chateau Moulis 1982 instead.

After a busy and trying week, tonight I BBQ'd some lamb and enjoyed a 2006 Stephen's Cellars Pinot Noir with it (which is drinking quite well right now). And for dessert, a 1987 Quinta da Cavadinha Vintage Port (Warre's). Life couldn't be any better!

Last night, a decanter/bottle of Porto Vasconcellos / Special Reserve 20 Anos Tawny / Botteled in 2008. Not only opened, but before we knew it, it was all gone. What a great Tawny that is!!

Last night, a 2001 Quinta d. Vale Dona Maria Vintage Port. Had just one glass and will get a proper note up after seeing how it may or may not change over a few days.

Oh, is it my turn already?

Fonseca Guimaraens 1998 - nice port but not yet ready - give it 5 to 10 years.

That's a wine I really like - it shows Ferreira's ability to produce elegant wines really well. Enjoy. [cheers.gif]

Croft Roeda 1995. Strictly, not opened by me since it was bought at a restaurant, but certainly opened for me.
